We're proud to have three of Manchester's best performing tonight, The Tapestry, The Delaplains and The Watchmakers, bringing retro rock sounds to our stage.

Having toured the full-length of UK alone and with The Courteeners, as well as holding guest performances with The Young Knives, Sound Of Guns and Little Barrie, boy/girl combo The Tapestry are a blast of glam rock and indie. Lucid drumming combined with epic guitar riffs and perfectly tuned vocal harmonies turn into their own brand of garage-pop.

"If there was ever a band to fall instantly in love with, it is The Tapestry! " John Robb.

"Post-Clash guitar chops and anthems to kill for" Jon Ashley (Manchester Music)

The Delaplains are already showing themselves to be one of the brightest bands in the country. Formed in May 2012 and Inspired by a combined love of 60's pop and post-punk shoe gaze guitar, the bands output is a unique guitar pop sound.

'Guitar pop perfection' - John Robb

'Honest, passionate and real' - Badly Drawn Boy

With only a handful of live appearences including Exit Calm support and the band's own sold out psychedelic happening at The Kings Arms, Salford. The Watchmakers are creating quite a stir. Their only official music released, a one track practice room home demo 'Before Questions Came', has gained more reviews and column inches than more established acts and led to seasoned music lovers and music industry insiders clamouring for more material.

This event will begin at 8pm but our Picturehouse Cafe Bar is open from 5.30pm for delicious food and drinks.
