The Swingin' Blue Stars of the USS Hornet May 29, 2011

The five female vocalists, originally called The Singing Blue Star Moms, will perform the music of the '40s made popular by groups such as Andrews Sisters. Their "people-pleasing" music in observance of Memorial Day mixes saucy with romantic WWII tunes - "In the Mood", "The Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B", and more.
