The Strip Peace Walk March 8, 2008

Meet at the Statue of Liberty outside the New York, New York Casino & Resort at 9:00 a.m. as the Las Vegas Peace Project does the "Strip Peace Walk" to say "Please Stop the Violence!"

Whatever violence means to you and how it is adversely affecting you and your life, can be stopped by you. Just give yourself a voice and let it be shared with the world. From domestic violence, rape, gang warfare, police brutality, terrorism - state or individual, school shootings and violence, child abuse, animal brutality all the way to international wars, when we stop the violence, we can begin resolving the problems and issues that can bring healing and peace within our own lives.

Join the 2008 International Day of Women's "Please Stop the Violence" Strip Peace Walk on March 8, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. Walking from the Las Vegas Statue of Liberty to the United States Federal Building.
