Caroline Simard, Ph.D., Vice President of Research and Executive Programs, Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology.

Yet technology is omnipresent in our lives and a major driver of economic growth. Drawing on a vast array of research, including a large-scale study she conducted with leading technology companies, Simard explores the remaining cultural, organizational and individual barriers to women’s retention and advancement in high-tech fields and offers solutions to move women forward in breaking the “Silicon Ceiling.”
