The Spokes is a jazz/New Music trio co-led by three unusual composer/bandleaders, each with a unique musical personality and diverse history on the New York music scene. Their approaches to composition are varied, but their music is linked by a wry humor, a certain tonal angularity, and a subtle dissimilarity to much other music.
