The Spinto Band @ The Ruby Lounge November 21, 2012

Wilmington Delaware's homegrown pop outfit has returned. After spending the last couple of years constructing, installing, and setting up a coffee pot in a new studio in their hometown, the Spinto Band is ready to offer up the fruit of their labors. Since 2009, the band has been operating out of their own club house, The Garden Center, where they have made music, hosted concerts and events, and operated an office for their new label Spintonic Recordings. Fans of the Spinto Band have come to expect fun loving surprises with each album, and this one should be no different. The band hopes to have a few you-tube treats to coincide with Shy Pursuit as well as an ipod app/game, a Cinco de Mayo release party at Delaware’s renowned Dogfish Head Brewpub, and their first national tour in over a year. Shy Pursuit is a large step forward for the Spinto Band. They took their time crafting an album on their turf and on their terms. After taking the horse by the reigns, they hope to shape the band the way they have always wanted it to be seen. The album is completely their own, and they can't wait to share it.
