The Sphinx Organization, a national non-profit arts and youth development organization committed to building diversity in classical music, will present the top winners of its annual string competition for young Black and Latino musicians in a gala concert at Carnegie Hall Tuesday, October 24 at 6 p.m. The concert will feature works by George Frederick Handel, Wynton Marsalis, Mozart, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, Villa-Lobos, Vivaldi and Ysaye.
