The hills are alive with the Tony-Award winning “The Sound of Music” this summer as Shoestring Community Players announces the triumphant return of the musical to the St. Helens High School Olmschied Auditorium this July. Community members are currently hard at work, swiftly bringing World War 2 era Salzburg, Austria to St. Helens. With songs such as “My Favorite Things” and the eternal “The Sound of Music”, audiences are sure to be singing along by the end of the production.
Performances will take place beginning July 2nd and 3rd with show times at 7:00PM. Performances will continue with 7:00PM showings on July 9th, 10th, 15th , 16th , 17th. A 2:30PM matinee will be performed on Sunday, July 11th.
Ticket prices are $12.00 for adults and $10 for students and seniors, and can be purchased at the St. Helens Book Shop, The Buzz Salon, online at www.sscpmusicals.com, and at the Auditorium Box Office before each performance.
