The theme of this year's exciting gala is Reclaiming Our Edge: Launching a New Vision. Guests attending our gala will get a preview of our upcoming exhibition, Reclaiming the Edge: Urban Waterways and Civic Engagement, which opens to the general public on Monday, September 17th. The Gala will feature live entertainment, a silent auction, dinner and dancing.
Funds raised by the Gala will enable the Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum to sustain and expand its ongoing programs and activities including research, exhibitions, and educational outreach.
