The Sleeper Pins October 14, 2010

The Sleeper Pins formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2003 as a side project to the alt/art rock band Gliss. Tyson Allison (vocals, guitar, and more) and Justin DeLeon (drums, percussion) wanted an outlet for some quieter, acoustic-based songs that leaned on simplicity, atmosphere, and lyrics filled with storytelling and imagery. The band later went on hiatus, returning in 2006, later adding two new members: cellist Aaron Kerr and multi-instrumentalis Steve Nord.
