The Siberian Secret Winter Ball

The Secret Theatre in association with The Queens Players, a non-union acting company dedicated to presenting new material from fresh emerging artists and bringing affordable and quality theatre to the New York area, cordially invites you to our first annual Siberian Secret Winter Ball and fundraiser. The event features local NYC artists, fashion designers, and entrepreneurs together for a special night of silent auctions, art exhibits, special guest performers, exotic vodka and wine tastings, fashion shows, and fun.

The event takes place Saturday, February 26 from 7:00PM-11:00 PM. Tickets are $20.00, which includes a cocktail hour with open bar and hors d'oeuvres from 7:00PM-8:00PM. The night also includes a silent auction, fashion show, music, and entertainment throughout the evening. All festivities take place at the Secret Theatre (44-02 23rd St., LIC, NY 11101).

In July of 2007, The Queens Players arrived at the Long Island City Arts facility with hopes of turning a raw studio space into a popular theatre for the local community and beyond. With hard work and dedication, The Secret Theatre was born in just under eight weeks. Since then, the Secret Theater has hosted a new production every month for three years, both from its resident company, The Queens Players, as well as from a diverse lineup of guest companies and artists. From fresh productions of beloved classics, to innovative dance performances, to late night neo-burlesque shows, The Secret Theater has become a local attraction in Queens & Long Island City for audiences who want new and exciting forms of entertainment.

The Secret Theatre’s first production of 2011 will be Francis Beaumont’s classic comedy,
The Knight of the Burning Pestle, directed by Artistic Director, Richard Mazda. The show opens February 17th and is running until March 5th. General Admission is $18. Tickets can be purchased online at www.secrettheatre.com or via box office (718) 581-6477.
