SF Recovery Theatre Takes on Tenderloin History

On December 9th, 10th and 13th the SF Recovery Theatre will host a view of the Tenderloin’s most famous night spot, during Christmas, with a preview of a work in progress, “Night at the Black Hawk” an original piece reflecting on the lives and stories of the artists, musicians and residents that lived in the shadow of the Black Hawk Jazz Club.

Take an opportunity to catch us in the ‘hood as we make our rounds on Dec. 9th and 10th we will be at the CBD Community Room (134 Golden Gate) from 8 – 10pm, then on Saturday, December 11th we will be at Martuni’s (4 Valencia St.) from 6-8 pm.
