Experience Anarchy from the UK

The Sex Pistols Experience, the world's leading tribute show to one of the most influential bands of all time are over from the UK for a five week USA visit. It’s been thirty years since the orginal band caused uproar across their native England before splitting up in spectacular style at the end of their USA tour in 1978 - and if you missed out on seeing the 'real deal' this is your chance to hear the classic Never Mind the Bollocks album and other well known tracks played live and loud, and to witness the attitude that earned the original band notoriety.

The Sex Pistols Experience are made up of four talented English musicians brought together through a love of the Sex Pistols and their music..and some tough auditions! They’ve spent a long time perfecting the look and sound, down to every last detail, and they can boast that they have received accolades from key players of the original London punk scene as well as thumbs up from most of the original band members. "Splendid, they really are the Sex Pistols..!!" said Steve Jones of them when they appeared on the former Sex Pistols guitarist's radio show in LA earlier this year.

Careful not to be labelled simply a 'tribute band', the Sex Pistols Experience is comprised of professional actors and musicians to literally 're-create' actual performances of the original Sex Pistols. Expect ‘Johnny Forgotten’ (a London trained actor/singer) taking to the stage with manic, man-possessed energy and an arsenal of one-liners. 'Kid Vicious' posing and playing up to the crowd, fighting for the attention, ‘Steve Bones’ in tight leather jeans, trade mark Gibson and an eye for the girls and 'Paul Crook' pounding away on his drum kit.

Not only are the shows attracting the youger generation of punk fans, checking out where it all started, but even the most ardent Pistols fan, reluctant to see their hero's being portrayed, can usually be seen, two or three songs in, pogoing and bouncing around in the 'mosh-pit', re-living their youth and wishing they were twenty years younger!!

The band plays with all the spit and venom of the heady days of the 1977 period, blended with a ability of the seasoned musicians of the 1996 & 2003 tours. The whole show is delivered it as it should be, raw, loud and proud, powerful and dynamic, with the main focus being on having fun...!

The band have been honing their act performing live all over Europe and the USA to rave reviews, even starring in a highly publicised re-creation of the Jubilee Celebrations on the Thames aboard the Queen Elizabeth pleasure boat, complete with attendance of members of the Buzzcocks among other notaries. The band has also been featured on Sky News, Channel 4 and the BBC documentary 'Blood on the Turntables' featuring Johnny Rotten, Glen Matlock and Malcolm McClaren, throughout which the band re-enacted key moments in the Pistols' career. This then opened the door to the film world with SKY's 'Death By Excess' - the Sid & Nancy story, using 'Kid Vicious & Nancy Pungent' of the Sex Pistols Experience in the key roles.

Many of us will know the songs - Pretty Vacant, Bodies, Anarchy in the U.K, Sid Vicious’ version of My Way and of course the UK banned 'God Save The Queen'. This is your chance to hear all of these played with accuracy, passion and volume - the closest most of us will ever get to seeing an actual Sex Pistols show. Fans should expect an electric atmosphere, awesome wall-of-sound and the impression that anything could happen.
