This year, The Second City will celebrate 50 years of innovative satiric revues as well as being the launching pad for generations of comedy superstars. From Broadway stars Mike Nichols and Elaine May to Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell, The Second City continues to develop the leading voices in comedy while transforming into an international entertainment company.
The Second City has won over 30 Joseph Jefferson Award nominations in Chicago and over 35 Dora Award nominations in Toronto, which honor its excellence in professional theatre.
