Music lovers will not want to miss this opportunity to experience Philip Glass's Violin Concerto No. 2 (The American Four Seasons) performed by the renowned Venice Baroque Orchestra led by violinist Robert McDuffie. Premiered in December 2009 in Toronto to enthusiastic audiences, Glass's long-awaited concerto is paired in this program with its original inspiration, Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. The Venice Baroque Orchestra is recognized as one of Europe's premier ensembles devoted to period instrument performance and has received wide critical acclaim for its performances throughout North America, Europe, South America, and Japan.
