University of the Pacific Theatre Arts Presents
The Seagull by Anton Chekhov
Directed by: Lisa Tromovitch

Anton Chekhov’s classic play, by turns funny and poignant, deals with life on a country estate in pre-Revolutionary Russia. A rising star and one on her way down, a cutting edge writer and a published hack, a school teacher, a doctor, two housekeepers and a farm manager meet together at the shores of a majestic lake. Love is in the air, and love drives us to the ridiculous and the sublime! Don’t miss Chekhov’s masterpiece of tragic-comedy!
