Savoy Place
London, England

The Society will hold its Autumn Lecture Meeting and AGM on Tuesday 7th October at the IET building in Savoy Place, London. As usual this will be an all-day lecture meeting with registration commencing at 9am and the AGM following the lecture programme at 5pm. A cocktail reception will be held after the AGM on the TS Queen Mary, moored on the Thames adjacent to the IET.

Admission is free to all SCTE members (including those members of the North American SCTE) and lunch will be available for a nominal cost.
Non-members are admitted for a price of £50 + VAT, £20 of which is refundable against your first year’s membership of the Society should you join within the current year.

Full details of the Lecture programme will appear on the SCTE website and will be circulated to all members in September together with papers for the AGM. We would urge all members to study the latter in detail as this year there will be a motion to change the Constitution. This will allow the use of post-initials (letters after your name) for grades other than Members and Fellows. There will also be an election for places on the SCTE Executive, since every year one third of the Executive must stand for re-election, a chance for you to have a say in the running of your Society.
