This Black Friday, spend the number one shopping day of the year getting your shopping done while having fun at the San Jose Harvest Festival, happening November 26-28 at the San Jose Convention Center.
The San Jose Harvest Festival brings a new twist to the holiday shopping frenzy, offering over 24,000 handmade gifts in a fun, festival setting full of food, entertainment and music. The event features hundreds of exhibitors from around the country showcasing jewelry, photographs, original art, accessories, clothing, toys, textiles, specialty foods, home décor and more.
The Harvest Festivals began 38 years ago in San Francisco as a destination for craftspeople and artists to gather and have a forum to sell their handmade products. Today, the show has grown to encompass nine shows in the state of California and Nevada and still continues its tradition by only featuring arts and crafts handmade in the United States. Each exhibitor is subject to a rigid jury process to be selected as a featured artisan, ensuring a rich diversity and high quality of all products sold. Shoppers are able to directly interact with the artist, watch crafting demonstrations, and get many pieces personalized for that custom touch.
In addition to offering an unparalleled shopping haven, the San Jose Harvest Festival also provides exciting live entertainment throughout the day and prides itself on its all inclusive, family-friendly environment. Scott Land Marionettes will be on hand to charm children of all ages with riveting and whimsical puppet shows, and the interactive KidZone returns with hands-on projects that encourage creative crafting. Also performing on the main stage is Cash Tribute, a Johnny Cash tribute band, playing the hits of the famed “man in black” with honesty, accuracy and sincerity.
Once again, the show has partnered with West Valley Community Services to recognize the growing need of the hungry during the holiday season. Anyone who brings a non-perishable food donation to the show will receive a $2 off discount admission coupon.
Don’t miss the chance to experience a weekend full of gifts, entertainment, food and fun at the San Jose Harvest Festival.
