Robb Lawrence has spent nearly 40 years researching the history of American guitars, and in particular–the Gibson Les Paul solid-body electric models. His quest has taken him from Hollywood music shops, rock group concerts and interviews, a stay at Les’ home and admittance to the Gibson Company archives.
