"The Road to Damascus" New Work by Steven Dixey September 12, 2009

Steven Dixey’s acrylic paintings incorporate dramatic lighting and detailed figures, paying homage to the 16th and 17th century masters. For his upcoming solo show at Beep Beep Gallery, Steven is taking on some of the more famous works of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, inverting the religious symbolism of the pieces in favor of the iconography of science, discovery, and modern
technology.
