The Resurrection of Me Domestic Violence Awards Ceremony November 15, 2008

Event will honor men and women who has significantly contributed to eradicating domestic violence. Speakers include: Tony Herbert, city council candidate, a member of Voices of Women Organizing Project, and Tonya Blount. Poetry by William Frederick Cooper, NAACP Outstanding Literary Finalist (2007).

There will also a panel discussion: "Domestic Violence in the Church" and "Helping the Abuser." Participants include: Dr. Cynthia Hunter, Tonya Jackson, and Butch Slaughter.
