The Resulting Sculpture features raw welded, expressive free shapes in steel inspired by the geography and wildlife of New Zealand. The exhibition is a Rorschach of steel images, ranging from salamanders to beautiful, amorphous shapes some of which are reminiscent of Joan Miro's paintings. The exhibition is inspired by forms in nature as well as the physical properties of the metal itself. While visiting New Zealand in 2005, Bauch was amazed by the country's geography and wildlife, and created many drawings during his trip. Upon his return to New York, he began producing a new series of sculpture based on the New Zealand drawings. The Resulting Sculpture is a Drawing is the binding glue of Bauch's work.

The opening reception is Sunday, September 23 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The exhibition runs through October 14, 2007, Thursdays through Sundays 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm
