Every one of this trio have lauded solo careers with multiple platinum awarded songs, Grammy nominations and rich performance histories with a combined 20 albums and nearly a century of expertise. Troubadour Wendy Waldman founded the group Bryndle, writes hit songs for dozens of other acts, produces multi-genre projects, and tours as a clinician for Taylor Guitars. Deborah Holland headed up supergroup Animal Logic and scores/writes music for film and TV and is a professor of music at Cal State. Cindy Bullens, who cut her musical teeth in Elton John’s band and branched out as a hard-rock solo act, collaborates on Broadway shows and is a writer in Nashville. Together they blend country, rock, folk and Americana with soaring harmonies, indelible musicianship and a humorous stage presence supplemented by guitars, dobro, mandolin, accordion, bass and percussion. This show will mark the release of their debut CD, Unbound, as well as the start of their first Texas tour. Let’s make them welcome. www.therefugeesmusic.com Sally Spring opens.
