The Recording Academy® Chicago Chapter will present The Chicago BluesFest Kick Off Jam, featuring some of the most talented national and local musicians who will cover classic blues music in a tribute to the city's musical heritage. Proceeds from the Kick Off Jam will benefit the Chicago Chapter's year-round educational programs. The evening will also include a pre-concert reception and silent auction.

NBC5's entertainment reporter LeeAnn Trotter and Chicago radio personality Buzz Kilman will emcee the event with performances by Billy Branch, Vino Louden, Michael McDermott, Nick Moss, Rick Nielsen (of Cheap Trick), Pinetop Perkins, John Primer, Matthew Skoller and Sones de Mexico.

6-7:30pm: Catered Reception & Silent Auction
7-11pm: Concert

Tickets are $30 for the general public and $10 for Recording Academy members. Tickets can be purchased by e-mailing [email protected].
