The Ramblin' Kind is a country band from New York City. They're not an alt-country band. They're not a country-rock band, or any other hyphenated genre. They're just a country band. They play a combination of their own tunes and classics by Webb Pierce, Waylon Jennings, Tom T. Hall, Billy Joe Shaver, Ernest Tubb and other hardcore country acts.
