The REWF is a grassroots organization founded in an effort to bring wrestling, as many of us know it, back to the Midwest. The REWF was founded and continues to be based in the city of Milwaukee. The organization is driven by a staff of ten and forty wrestlers, both male and females, from diverse ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic and spiritual backgrounds. This wrestling federation was developed in an attempt to bring attention to drug awareness through the Wrestlers against Drugs Campaign. This campaign was developed to educate out community about the negative effects of drugs, alcohol, and peer pressure (most often leading our youth in the wrong direction). This organization takes pride in presenting the art of wrestling rather than the glorified violence, nudity, and vulgar language portrayed through Vince McMahon=s wrestling conglomerate on television.

I, as the CEO and founder of the REWF/ TCWF, have prioritized and take great pride to provide all of the wrestlers with extensive training in proper and safe wrestling techniques. I have also taken great strides to provide quality training by collaborating with trainers who specialize in the areas noted above. I was trained at the WCW Wrestling School but chose to depart from the organization when informed that African American wrestlers were not promoted in that particular organization. The past four years have been devoted to developing a wrestling federation committed and determined to educate, mentor and provide positive role models to the children of Milwaukee and the surrounding areas. The REWF/ TCWF, its staff and wrestlers are dedicated to the future of our community by taking the program into various organizations and venues in order to project positive messages to the youth. The AWrestlers Against Drugs Campaign@ has taken this message into the schools, various community organizations (YMCA, Boys= and Girls= Clubs, etc.), public recreation programs, churches and other spiritual entities, as well as all other venues deemed appropriate. It is extremely evident as indicated by the violence within our community of youth that AIt takes a whole village to raise a child.@ (African Proverb) The REWF/ TCWF is committed to being visible and active volunteers in the community as well as in the Midwest. This organization strives to put Milwaukee Aback on the map@ as a positive entity rather than a community plagued by violence.
