Kathy King

Kathy is a singer with a growing emphasis on Christian music ministry. She has been singing all her life, and is able to draw from a wealth of different musical experiences to bring depth to her performance. Her Christian concerts are a diverse blend of contemporary/pop ballads and upbeat tunes that appeal to a wide range of ages and musical styles. Kathy brings her own equipment and background tracks, and adds variety with the occasional use of PowerPoint lyrics and photos. She is known for her clear, pristine voice and engaging stage presence.

Kathy has this to say about her ministry. “I have never experienced a dramatic conversion to Christianity as some other people have. Jesus has simply been in my life since – well, since before I can remember. Yet it seems that whenever I try to tell others of my faith, words always fail me. Mere words are inadequate to describe the love of God, and the wondrous gifts of forgiveness and salvation that Jesus has given us. Music, however, is a universal language that speaks to our souls when ordinary words are not enough. It is most clearly through music that God speaks to me, and it is how I most easily respond. The chance to share that music is an honor and a joy.”
