The PIFA: Passion of Joan of Arc (France, 1928) April 12, 2011

Bryn Mawr Film Institute is proud to collaborate with the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts on its' inaugural season and, in support of the theme, 'Paris, 1911,' will screen a series of films, entitled, 'Cinematheque: A Month of Film Events,' pertaining to this robust moment in cultural history. The series continues with Carl Theodor Dreyer's 'The Passion of Joan of Arc,' which will be introduced by a film historian who will talk about silent film.
