Joining PCMS on Sunday, April 5 at the Holy Trinity Church, The Philadephia Singers will perform a diverse program of works by Brahms, Debussy, and Loeffler, among others. The group, founded in 1972, is a unique chorus of Philadelphia's finest professional singers who excel in solo and ensemble work; last season marked the Singers' 35th Anniversary Season.

"They really can sing just about anything!" proclaims The Philadelphia Inquirer, a fact well-known by the Singers' annual live audiences of over 40,000. For the past 35 years, the Singers Chorale has maintained its mission of presenting choral music of the highest caliber, offering challenging performance opportunities to professional singers, and promoting a knowledge and appreciation of the choral art to people of all ages. In addition, The Philadelphia Singers group has a rich history of commissioning new works, including: William Bolcom's The Mask, Robert Capanna's Day, Romeo Cascarino's William Penn, and Ezra Laderman's Brotherly Love, among others.
