The Perils of Pinocchio March 17, 2011

This production features kids from ages 6 to 13, and it has the same theater magic which excited an earlier generation (1963), and helped turn a mountain crossroads into a leading rural visitor destination when the people of Cumberland County were inspired to raise funds and build the Cumberland County Playhouse.

Come see Geppetto, the lonely woodcarver, make a wooden son to entertain the neighbor kids. As Pinocchio comes to life, watch as "Cricket", Pinocchio's conscience, trys to steer him on the right path, even though Pinocchio keeps thinking about himself and choosing the wrong one...until finally he learns to care about others.
