The Peoples of Revolutionary American: From Spies to Chaplains September 17, 2008

John Fea, author of 'The Way of Improvement Leads Home,' documents the life of Philip Vickers Fithian, one of the most prolific diarists in early America and native to Cumberland County, New Jersey. John A. Nagy, author of 'Rebellion in the Ranks: Mutinies of the American Revolution,' tells of over one hundred mutinies and identifies thirty spies. His talk will identify the involvement of Pennsylvanians and Philadelphia in the mutinies.
