Back by popular demand, The Peking Acrobats from The People’s Republic of China return to the Marin Center stage with their 2,000 year old tradition of acrobatics for an exclusive Bay Area appearance. The extraordinary performance almost takes on the excitement and pageantry of a Chinese carnival, with live musicians playing traditional Chinese instruments to heighten the festive atmosphere surrounding these world-renowned performers. The acrobats engage in a number of daring maneuvers atop a precarious pagoda of chairs, precision tumbling and displays of unbelievable flexibility, among other spectacular feats.
