"What would happen if?..." In SCHICK MACHINE, maverick composer Paul Dresher built a sonic playground for virtuoso percussionist Steven Schick in which every object and surface is 'alive'.

This extraordinary venture, created in collaboration with writer/director Rinde Eckert and mechanical sound artist Matt Heckert, pushes the limits of contemporary performance as Schick - one of the world's foremost contemporary percussionists and founding member of Bang on a Can - plays large, invented instruments, noise-making sculptures and one-of-a-kind instruments.

Plus at the end of the show, the audience is invited onstage to play the instruments themselves making this an ideal outing for music fans and families.
