Bob Dylan’s legendary performances at the 1963, 1964, and 1965 Newport Folk Festivals have been collected into this new concert film by Oscar-winning filmmaker Murray Lerner (From Mao to Mozart). The three sets, during which Dylan sings some of his best-known songs, telescope the singer’s controversial evolution from folk to rock, acoustic to electric. Cleveland theatrical premiere.
