The Originals Junior Dance-Off! 2012 September 30, 2012

The Originals Junior Dance-Off! is a dance competition targeted at primary school students between the ages of 7-12.

Student participants are to form teams of at least three in a group and dance, between 3-5 minutes in duration, on any style – from hip hop to tap dance; folk dance to cultural dance; or even cheerleading. They are to choreograph an Intellectual Property-themed dance to bring out the message, “Honour Intellectual Property”.

The main objective is to instil greater IP awareness and to provide an avenue for these youths to express their support for IP and original creative works.



Call for entries:

To enter the competition, each team must submit a video recording of their dance via e-submission on the HIP Alliance website, www.hipalliance.com from 1 Oct to 30 Nov 2012.

These entries will be subjected to a round of short-listing by a panel of judges. Shortlisted teams will then compete in a finale performance in January 2013 to vie for attractive prizes worth almost $10,000!
