The Originals IP Champion Music Fiesta 2012 June 17, 2012

The Originals IP Champion Music Fiesta 2012 is back for its 2nd installment and is open to all secondary school students with the passion for music.

To be held during the June holidays from 18 – 22 June 2012, The Originals IP Champion Music Fiesta 2012 is a songwriting competition and camp, co-organised the Honour Intellectual Property (HIP) Alliance, a collaborative initiative amongst the people, private and public sectors spearheaded by IPOS, Singapore Polytechnic and East Zone Centre of Excellence for Creative Arts (Music Satellite). The 4 ½ -day event aims to instill greater IP awareness and respect through hands-on IP creation.

Participants can look forward to:

HIGHLIGHTS

• Song Writing Workshops
Learn the basics of lyric writing and song writing from Singapore Polytechnic's Music & Audio Technology academia.

• Sharing by popular local music duo, Jack & Rai
Hear it from the artiste point-of-view on how IP is the vital ingredient in contributing to their musical success. Groove to the tunes of Jack & Rai as they perform their original songs at the grand finale.

• Finale Performance on 22 June 2012
Write a song to show your support for IP. Who knows, you may make it to the Top 10, or even win the grand prize which includes an internship with Ocean Butterflies Music! Not participating in the competition, come on down to the finale at Singapore Polytechnic Convention Centre and show your support for the top 10 teams. Admission is free to all.
