Anne Burns Sena, Operations Manager for Cisco Systems will present an overview of Project Management Office-the three letters that are popping up all over companies and organizations. Sena created and leads the PMO for the Enterprise Data Solutions Group, a central organization that works across Cisco on managing data as a critical asset and enabling new business capabilities through data.

This presentation will answer these questions:

What is a PMO? How is a PMO established? What benefit does a PMO bring to an organization? How does a PMO bring value to an organization? Is it possible for executive leaders to understand and support a PMO? How do cross-functional PMOs work together to bring value to the organization?

A specific perspective will be given on how a PMO that spans across a corporation can not only work, but be an organizational advantage and core competency.

$10 for PMI and SDForum members; $20 for non-members; add $5 at the door.
