THE ONION PRESENTS: STOCKINGS WITH CARE BENEFIT AT COMIX

New York, NY – Filled with a slightly disorienting sense of charity, some of our nation’s biggest headlining comedians are coming together at Comix on Thursday, December 6 at 8:00 PM — all to benefit Stockings With Care.

The stellar line up of talent includes Jessi Klein from “The Showbiz Show with David Spade” and Kristen Schaal of HBO’s “Flight of the Conchords” raising money for those in need for the holidays.

Stockings with Care is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making sure that families in need have everything they need to create the magic of Christmas morning for their kids, played Santa to over 2000 kids last year. The charity is all about opening hearts, inspiring dreams and preserving the dignity of parents and their families.

Through the generosity of individual “Santas,” private and corporate donors and a small army of volunteers, Stockings with Care makes sure that every child gets at least two things on their wish list and that each child has at least three gifts to open on Christmas morning. Thousands of gifts are wrapped and delivered to the parents, empowering them to create magic for their kids.
