The Tony award winning Broadway hit The Odd Couple previews August 9, opens August 16 and runs through October 7 at Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace, 100 Drury Lane. The riotously funny Broadway sensation, The Odd Couple, written by classic playwright Neil Simon, is one of Broadways most successful comedies and an enduring audience favorite.

The Odd Couple premiered on Broadway in 1965 and instantly became a hit. It was then followed by a hugely successful film and television adaptation. Set in New York during a hot 1960s summer, the story follows the adventures of two mismatched roommates; Felix Unger, a neurotic fusspot news writer, and Oscar Madison, a slovenly sports journalist. The men attempt to adapt to each others idiosyncrasies, all the while trying to rekindle their social lives with side-splitting results!

The Odd Couple stars Norm Boucher as Oscar Madison and Dan Rodden as his best pal Felix Unger. Also starring in this production will be Dev Kennedy as Murray the Cop, Mark Czoske as Roy the Accountant, Brooks Darrah as Vinnie the Henpecked Husband, and David Kortemeier as Speed the Curmudgeon. Starring as the notorious Pigeon sisters will be Elizabeth Ledo Cecily Pigeon and Carrie Lee Patterson Gwendolyn Pigeon.

Joining Greg Kolack (Director) will be Bill Bartelt (set design), Kurt Ottinger (lighting design) and Elizabeth Shaffer (costume design).

The performance schedule is as follows: Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m., Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., Fridays at 8:30 p.m., Saturdays at 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. and 6 p.m. Show prices range from $25 to $50 (depending on the day of the week); Lunch or Dinner and Theatre Packages are available.
