THE EVOLUTION OF CHICAGO ARTIST DORIAN ALLWORTHY

WHAT: Come and experience a journey of the 30+ year career of Chicago artist Dorian Allworthy. Allworthy’s work includes portraits, nudes, still life, interiors, landscapes and drypoint engravings. Work will include everything from early paintings done under the instruction and influence of her legendary artist father, Joseph Allworthy, to more recent pieces done on her farm in Southern Illinois including her garish fragments collection and pieces from her recent collaboration with rising floral design star Cornelia McNamara. Allworthy’s extensive body of work is sure to be a memorable experience. Guests will enjoy meet and greets with the artist, wine and hors d’oeuvres.
