The Nomads Summer Picnic! August 9, 2008

Strawberries, champagne, Nomads networking drinks and a bright sun… how to enjoy this year's summer better than in the grass?

We will be near the "Round Pond" in Kensington Gardens. Look out for the red balloons, which will guide you to the Nomads picnic.

Feel free to bring friends, family, colleagues and whoever else you want to introduce to the Nomads!

Champagne and strawberries will be provided by the Nomads, and of course you can bring your own picnic food, music and games with you.

Nomads Members come in for free, and there is a £10 fee for non-Members.

Andrea is back on track as the Host of the Month, and will join us on Saturday. Her Nomadic smile will make you most welcome, and she looks much forward to seeing everybody there!

Closest tubes are Queensway (Central), Lancaster Gate (Central), or High Street Kensington (Circle and District).

As in previous years, we are planning to have this pic-nic only if the weather permits − otherwise we will meet for tea at the Orangery (Kensington Palace, see map here). Unfortunately they do not take group bookings over the weekend, so we just go along and queue for tables.
