the Night Kitchen: BASECK, DUB U & DJ EMCEE CHILD September 26, 2008

On September 26th, The Night Kitchen celebrates its first Friday edition by hosting the breathtaking breakcore turntablist Baseck from Los Angeles. Joined by veteran DJ Selector Dub U and ubiquitous SF figure Emcee Child, the basement of Chinatown's Li Po Lounge will come alive with raw, freeform dance stylings of every shape and size. Having started in June, this one-off club series has been gaining momentum with lineups that gather the Bay Area's most exciting eclectic DJs, such as Kid Kameleon, DJ Ripley, Sam Supa & Enzyme. Because of its positive reception, The Night Kitchen now expands its commitment of 'serving skewered beats hot to your feets' to include incendiary talent from across the globe.
