The New Amsterdams October 17, 2007

The Indie rock outfit the New Amsterdams were pioneered by vocalist/guitarist Matthew Pryor as a side project. Joining him are drummer Jake Cardwell, guitarist Alex Brahl and bassist Robert Pope. The New Amsterdams' work features light acoustic guitars and slightly more straight forward pop rock. Utilitizing horns, guitars, and a collection of dumpster-retrieved drums, Anthallo has been in a process of continual transformation, exapnded outward crossing genres with an ever increasing sense of purposeful risk, and fluidity.
