The Netherlands Roleplaying Guild Presents: Meetup 6 - Revenge of the Natural 20! July 20, 2008

This is the 6th Meeting of The Netherlands Roleplaying Guild, titled 'Revenge of the Natural 20!' - the best way to spend a Sunday evening.

New members are always welcome and there is always a game for new or inexperienced players. We play in English, but Dutch is also possible. If you do not know what a roleplaying game is, click here:

Nieuwe leden zjin altijd welkom, en er is altijd wel een spel geschikt voor onervaren spelers. We spelen meestal in het Engels, maar het is ook mogelijk in het Nederlands te spelen. Als je niet weet wat een rollenspel is, kijk dan hier:

To quote Wikipedia "A role-playing game has no winners, the main purpose of the game is to have fun playing it. That makes role-playing games fundamentally different from board games, card games, sports and most other types of games."

If you're interested in coming you should RSVP on the meetup.com website rather than upcoming.org. Please RSVP, as the organisers need to know how many players are coming to make sure there are enough games.

Agenda:
14:00-14:30 - Arrival, door registration, setup, chat time and door prizes.
14:30-17:30 - Open games session, games listed below.
17:30-18:30 - Break for dinner.
18:30- 22:00 - Meetup campaigns and pickup games.

Prizes! The euro left over from the last meetups' donations (to cover the cost of the venue) are rolled into door prizes. Prizes are given out before the gaming starts, so it's best to show up on time!

Games! The games are listed on the website, added as we get them. Those who RSVP 'Yes' and show up on time get first choice, but there should be enough games for everyone.

Necessary Evil - Only the supervillans can save the world from the invading aliens, as all the superheroes died trying!

Session #1 Games:

Title: Easy as Pie
Game System and Setting: Alpha Omega.
Summary: Mankind stands on the brink of extinction; Earth is about to become the battleground for otherworldly creatures of incredible power as they wage an ancient war. The last bastions of civilization live in glittering towers in walled cities surrounded by vast expanses of savage wilderness. Only the brave or the insane venture into the Wilds, but that's what you've been asked to do. So are you brave, or insane?
