Now in its 30th year, The NATYS: New Acts of The Year Showcase announces the sixteen final acts selected to appear at the annual new Comedy talent showcase at the Bloomsbury Theatre on Sunday 27 January 2013.

Selected from over 175 entrants and including a diverse range of new talent who, we believe, will shape a compelling and entertaining bill in this legendary celebration of New Variety Comedy.

Arthur Smith hosts the top sixteen as they perform their best five minute routines and present a range of styles which go across the comedy spectrum: musical, sketch, poetry, novelty and stand-up. An industry judging panel that includes programmers, reviewers and bookers will declare one act to be ‘Top of the Bill’ for 2013.
The NATYS: New Acts of the Year Showcase, is an independent, not- for-profit project, committed to encouraging new talent to enter the professional LIVE Comedy world. The NATYS is produced by New Variety Lives in association with Rich Mix Arts Centre and The Bloomsbury Theatre, and supported by Roberson Wines
