Last fall, General Craig R. McKinley was appointed Chief of the National Guard Bureau and became the first four-star general to serve in the National Guard in its 372-year history. He now represents nearly 468,000 citizen Soldiers and Airmen. The vital domestic and international role the Guard has to play has become increasingly more apparent in the past decade. While it continues to evolve into a more operational force, the Guard must work to harness its unique capabilities to assist the nation with current conflicts and prepare for future contingencies. Join us for a special presentation by General McKinley as he discusses the National Guard’s role in current conflicts and how it can contribute to building a balanced force for the future.
