1-1:30pm BSL-interpreted Gallery Talk (Room 9) - Pure Waters: Tintoretto: Christ Washing the Feet of his Disciples. Al Johnson looks at how Tintoretto tells this New Testament story by setting his figures in a large theatrical space. Free; no booking required.

The National Gallery is the nation’s collection of Western European painting from about 1250. Famous masterpieces from Leonardo da Vinci to Van Gogh are on display every day, free of charge. Throughout the year, free talks are given in BSL by deaf lecturers, or in spoken English with BSL interpretation. Talks highlight different paintings in the Collection and special exhibitions, inviting you to respond through discussion and practical workshops.
