Back in Black is a collection of photographs spanning the last ten years of music photography by award winning photographer Jérôme Brunet, featuring musical luminaries such as B.B. King, James Brown, Eric Clapton, Santana, Tom Waits and U2, as well as contemporary stars like Ben Harper, John Mayer and Jack White. The exhibition will also include photographs from the 2009 S.F. Outside Lands Music & Arts festival.

About Jérôme:

A freelance photojournalist Jérôme Brunet was born in southern France and raised in Ontario, Canada. After obtaining his O.S.S.D. majoring in visual arts, he started his post secondary education in Paris, France, at the E.F.E.T. School of Photography, graduating in 1997. Jérôme Brunet’s award winning photography has been published internationally through such diverse publications as Rolling Stone, Billboard, American Photo, Guitar Player, Financial Times, Forbes and The New York Times. His client list includes Fender Musical Instruments, Gibson Guitars, The Discovery Channel, Nikon Imaging and is currently featured on the official websites of musicians Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana and James Brown. Jérôme Brunet passion for music started at the age of four, studying classical music as a cellists for eight years before moving on to the guitar which he continues to this day. Jérôme Brunet is currently working and residing in the Bay Area of San Francisco and is represented internationally by the Zuma Press photo agency.
