The Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale presents the Return of the original Las Olas National Art Festival, a high caliber juried art show al fresco. 2008’s event was a huge success and proved to be one of the highest caliber shows in the area. Top artists from all over the world were part of this Musuem quality event and gave visitors the opportunity to meet and talk to over one hundred and fifty artists. These fine artists will showcase their work in mediums such as, paintings, sculpture, glass, mixed media, metal ceramics, photography, jewelry, and much more!

This event will be held in beautiful Huizenga Plaza, situated along historic Las Olas Boulevard. The park is steps from the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale offering an opportunity to experience museum exhibits, as well as, festival artists. 2009’s event will also include live music in the park amphitheatre and a gourmet selection of food and wine from the Museum’s Café.

The Museum of Art| Fort Lauderdale National Art Festival will benefit the Studio Arts School and Creative Summer Art Camp, which offers curriculum based art classes for students of all ages, in mediums such as figure drawing, water color, oil painting, 2-D and 3-D design and more. How do I apply to the art show the end of January, I am so happy it is back I have won awards at your show in the past and was very upset to not have you on my schedule.
