After the unfortunate cancellation of their April 2008 Australian tour due to main-man John Darnielle’s bout with the dreaded tinnitus, The Mountain Goats are ecstatic to at last be heading back to our shores to make things right with the people.

Hitting Australia with their drummer, Jon Wurster (Superchunk), for the first time, The Mountain Goats will be once again be thrilling and surprising fans by dipping into their extensive catalogue, which covers 17 years of music making.

With their highly literate and metaphorical lyrics being of the utmost importance, and their uncanny ability to match these to infectious tune after infectious tune, Mountain Goats lives shows are always amazing experiences, part catharsis & part celebration, as Darnielle brings his wonderful narrative driven songs to life right in front of your eyes.
